Grown-ish fans can rejoice because the Disney-owned cable network, Freeform, has renewed the spin-off hit for a second expanded season of 20 episodes, up from the first-year run of 13 episodes, after airing only four installments!
Grown-ish has gained Freeform the best comedy launch in five and a half years, opening with 1.56 million total viewers, including 917,000 among adults 18-49. The renewal come as Freeform is expanding its original programming to four nights a week with additional original scripted shows that include The Bold Type, Famous in Love, Shadowhunters, Beyond and Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, Alone Together, and Siren.
